CLO FOUNDATION CHAMPIONS EDUCATION WITH LIFE-CHANGING SCHOLARSHIP PROJECT

The Clo Foundation successfully concluded its impactful Clo Scholarship Project on Wednesday, 19 February 2025, at the DEGOD’SWILL ACADEMY in Aba, Abia State. Designed to support academically gifted yet financially disadvantaged students, the project marks a significant stride towards empowering Nigeria’s youth.

At the opening ceremony, Amb. Queen Chioma Lynda Onwuka, founder of the Clo Foundation, was represented by Mrs. Eze Ijeoma Imelda. She reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to education and personal growth, stating:

“Education is a powerful tool for transformation, and through this scholarship, we are investing in the future of our youth, ensuring that no child is left behind due to financial constraints.”

Evang. Mrs. Gift Ugochi Onwuka, the President of the Foundation, noted that the initiative aligns with Goal 4 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She emphasized that the project provides life-changing opportunities by equipping students with the resources needed to excel academically.

Ms. Winnie Onwuka, the Financial Secretary, explained that after a rigorous selection process, deserving beneficiaries received financial assistance covering tuition fees, educational materials, and other essential learning needs. The scholarship initiative also featured mentorship sessions led by Pastor John Robert, who inspired the students to embrace moral and academic excellence, resilience, and leadership.

The event was well attended by educators, community leaders, parents, and well-wishers, all of whom commended the Clo Foundation for its unwavering commitment to humanitarian efforts. Proprietress Mrs. Elizabeth Chinaza Ugboaja expressed gratitude for her school’s inclusion in the historic project, while parents shared heartfelt testimonies on how the scholarship would alleviate their financial burdens and inspire their children to achieve academic success.

The Head of Mission, Mr. Michael Babalola Legend, stated that Clo Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to create a lasting societal impact through its humanitarian initiatives, reinforcing its vision of nurturing the future leaders of Nigeria.
